Greetings from all of us in the Kishwaukee Valley Art League. It's been quite some time since we've had an update for you, but rest assured we've all been hard at work over the past few months.
COVID restrictions are still in place at this time. However, we've leased a space for KVAL's very own gallery, right in the heart of Sycamore. Located at 322 West State, Sycamore, IL, 'Gallery on State' is currently being furnished for a grand opening sometime in the near future.
Once open, this space will be used for all future board and group meetings, as well as classes and other special shows. Mask and social distancing requirements will still be in place until further notice, but for those unable to attend in person, we will be streaming each meeting live online.
The first of these livestream events will be held in November (official date to be determined). The event will be online only, and will serve as an opportunity for group members to see and hear about our new gallery from the comfort of their own home. A Q&A session will also be held at the end for everyone in attendance.
Thank you for your patience during this time, and we hope to see you online this November.
